Ty Croes Vineyard
19 August 2024

We both woke up at 6:30 am, too early for a cuppa so resolved to get another hour and then tea. Our first destination was Betwys-Coed and after a little walk we found the remaining cafe serving full English breakfast, result. A small cafe with some lady cyclists and a table of Welsh speaking locals, not very friendly but the people after them were fine.

After visiting every shop and not finding any bargains we drove on to our next campsite. The views of Snowdonia were misty but still magnificent. We went over the Menai Bridge onto Anglesey and then to Ty Croes Vineyard. Another small CS site and £29(!) for a night, but it does have free WiFi and three washing up sinks. Did we mention, it’s raining and windy.
