This years event took place at Fryer Field between 12 – 4pm on the 13th July. Admission and parking was free all run by volunteers. The weather wasn’t as sunny as last year but it didn’t rain. Similar format and layout with a variety of stalls to visit around a central display of classic cars, a good turnout. There were lots of places for tea and cake and we got free cake from the nice lady on the alzheimers friendship stall. A stage setup in one corner of the field hosted a local band that played some well known hits from the 80’s and 90’s. Children could enjoy the fair rides and the ferrets. We met our friends from the health walks, Roger and Judith who were exhibiting their red 850 Mini. Lillian and I both chose our favourite car, Lillian went for the red Cadillac and I went for the blue Daimler.
